I am so happy to announce the K is for KANI BLOG 1000 followers giveaway today. I know i am over 200 followers overdue with this giveaway but it's here now and that's all that matters :) I am truly grateful and appreciative of all of my blog readers and i'll tell you the truth, eleven months ago when i first started blogging i never ever thought that my blog would grow so fast!

To be completely honest, I'm not much of a headband person. I like my hair, so I prefer not to hide behind anything. (: However, the "lacey daisy headband in dusty pink" [I mean, c'mon -- the title alone sells it] is just so sweet and subtle and dainty. When my sister was in kindergarden, she didn't know how to tie her hair and used to go to school with a messy mop of tangled hair atop her head. One day when my dad was able bring her to school, he tied her hair in light pink and cream coloured bows (like the one used in this headband). When she reached school, one of the boys in her class fell in love with her and gave her her first kiss. It was so cute we still laugh about it today, some 13 years on.
