Vintage boater hat, dress, vest, bag & shoes, no name socks

An outfit from last month, a to do list and a photo diary for November.

On my to-do list:

1. Buy Christmas presents
2. Buy a portable clothing rack
3. Try and part with some vintage to sell
4. Go to the beach
5. Bake some cupcakes
6. Make some tags

Things i have done:

straighten out my shoe rack

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
take photos of crazy rain
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
multi-tasking

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
make BEAUTIFUL 'coconut macaroons' with my friend, when we were really meant to make the REAL macaroons, not some prickly hybrid - oh well they were good!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

MY FRIEND AND I'S MASS FAIL MACAROONS HAHAHAHA

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
yeah, i love sushi

store displays
May i repeat:

My friend and I had a baking day where we were going to make macaroons. It consisted of two failed attempts. The first attempt we used the wrong recipe and ended up with some prickly coconut thing. It did taste good however. The second attempt was just fail in itself. It was an extremely fun day which involved three visits to Coles cause we kept needing to buy ingredients!

Hope you enjoy this post! Maybe i'll introduce you to some people in my life later on :)

PS. Uni results came out a couple of weeks ago and i'm so happy to say that i passed all my subjects! Including this crappy accounting subject which had a black and white textbook and i thought i was going to fail in, yay! i passed :)

I just found your blog and I would like to say that I am very glad that I did! This post definitely amused me haha and too bad on those macaroons... which reminds me, I really should get onto baking our extremely overripe bananas into banana cake. Hmm.

Btw, your hat is so cute! I want one like it...

Aw I love seeing these kinds of photos. Sounds like making macaroons was quite a task!

And oh my gosh, I LOVE that hello panda stuff! It's almost impossible to find here though. You have to go to a bunch of different Asian stores before you find it.

I wish I was brave enough to try to bake macarons! I'm too scared I'd destroy them!! Hehe And your shoe rack is so fantastic!!!

Becky said...

These photo's are inspiring :)

rosanguyen said...

Congratulations on passing!!

And your macarons aren't that bad, my first attempts were quite similiar! They looked fine when going into the oven, but they caved into them selves when I took them out.

Your mood and rain photos look really great!!! Despite them being cold and dull, it looks really dreamy and warm!

This entry made me hungry! I love sushi, macaroons, hello panda, pocky, yan yan--- I'm so asian, but I've never tried spicy Malaysian rice. It looks good, though and seems like it's wrapped in something. I have no idea where to get Malaysian food around here.

I also just got a portable clothes rack and shoe rack from Ikea for really cheap. Nice shoe collection, and great outfit!!
