Gifted 80′s Purple sunnies, vintage scrunchie, gifted May cropped sweater from Frankie Sunshine, Quirky Circus for MinkPink velvet floral shorts, Bracelets from China, Diva ring, Sportsgirl otk socks and Forever 21 clogs.
I’m here to share with you some things that have been trending in my head lately. Firstly, scrunchies. They are most definitely one of those things from the 80s that no one wants to know of or see again, but i think they are so cute! My mother had a whole cosmetic bag full of them, all of which she doesn’t wear anymore. I guess i’ve somewhat taken a propriety interest or just interest them and have put them in my hair every now and then. Actually, scrap that, i LOVE scrunchies! I just always forget to wear them, but today, i remembered :)
Another thing that i am liking these days is wearing cropped tops with high waist shorts/skirts. I was inspired to piece this crop sweater with the shorts because – well, i first saw these shorts in a mannequin in Myer, styled with a similar looking white cropped sweater! I’m so original, right :P But seriously, check out those plaits!
PS Congratulations to Diana & XinLin who were the lucky winners of our latest giveaway.
Diva necklace worn as a hairchain, necklace & bead bracelet, Bardot shirt, floral blouse & suede shorts, Vintage necklace & bag, leather bracelet from China and Urban Outfitters wedges.
So we are just half way through the Bardot Blog Off and i am here to present to you outfit three. This week the four of us were asked to style an outfit around this particular off-white shirt. I am a big fan of collars done up so i decided to style this outfit with a little bit of a preppy spin. So i chose to add in a vintage neck tie, as well as layer a floral blouse underneath. The shirt has a cute tie waist bow which can be done up on the front or back, but i did it up at the back and unfortunately forgot to take some photos of it! I wore that flower necklace as a hairchain again, did my hair up (i rarely do) and wore the most appropriate shoes i own.. i need shoes.
On monday i went with a couple of friends to Fashion Full Stop, the opening show for L’oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Can i just say, best show ever! Guy Sebastian & Marcia Hines was there too :) So everyone was extremely dressed up for the show and i came straight from a full day of uni! So anyway, I saw so many amazing shoes and I am in this huge shoe craving mood and have this unfortunate perception in my head that i don’t own enough shoes. Safe to say i probably own quite an average amount – just counted 18 pairs excluding slippers, thongs and my one pair of runners which i have not worn since my high school physical education classes. SoOo.. muahahaha.
I’ll stop talking about shoes now.

Happy Sunday everyone!
I can proudly announce that today i did a whole two hours worth of driving practice. I think i have become much too desperate to get my P’s these days. Public transport has always annoyed me and i guess i have had quite a few traumatic experiences on the bus, including (but not limited to): sitting next to mosquitoes and spiders, falling over whilst walking to my chair, pressing the button and the bus driver forgetting to stop, having the door being closed on my foot, dropping things which then roll down to the front of the bus and the very last, most common one – going to the bus stop ten minutes early just in case the bus comes early but instead, the bus comes twenty minutes late – oh don’t you just love that! Anyway, going by the rate i am going (four hours of driving this week!) only 23 weeks left until i get to 120 hrs ;)
l won this dress from a giveaway from fellow blogger and Miss Patina lover – hivennn. Haha i only entered because i was about to buy one of their dresses anyway and turns out, i was one of the winners! You may now like to be aquainted with the fact that i feel bad for winning and have not entered a giveaway ever since! On and in terms of that dress i was going to buy, it wasn’t this one so i went ahead and bought it anyway. I’ve worn it out a few times already (including on my birthday) so.. i must share with you all soon! But for now, check out those cute scallops and piping on my bright little autumn coat!
Tomorrow marks the start of L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and i have managed to squeeze some time out of my busy uni/life schedule to check out Fashion Full Stop as well as run some short and sweet little denim styling workshops for Bardot :) – this is a completely separate thing to the Blog Off. So if your near any of the following stores on these days, feel free to come say hi! They are: tuesday highpoint @ 4pm, wednesday melbourne central @ 4pm, thursday doncaster @ 7pm, friday chapel st @ 6pm, saturday chadstone @ 12pm and sunday bourke st @ 1pm. And just so you don’t get so shocked – i can tell you now that i’m really shorter than i look ;) Oh and yes, feel free to vote for me here! <3<3
