Wearing: ASOS deer print cardigan, belt & platform heels, vintage necklace & top, Evil Twin bull cuff and Bardot skirt
The Australian colours, green and gold inspired my outfit for Australia Day. I’ve always had the urge to pair my greens with yellow (or gold) and was always met with the thought: ‘nah’ – as it’s one of those sorta strange combinations to wear around over here. Like as if I’m an athlete at the Olympics. Anyway, I thought I’d bust them out together on Australia Day but felt a little bit funny in them and added in, well, just about every other colour of the rainbow. A pink chiffon cardigan, a bright blue belt and navy platform wedges and now all I’m missing is violet. Tom & I spent the afternoon at a fishing lake where we attempted to catch fish – but instead we caught many snags, picking wild blackberries and seeing dozens of wild kangaroos and rabbits. Here’s wishing everyone a relaxing weekend. Thank you to everyone who has voted for me in the ASOS Future Stylist competition, feel free to vote for me again today – and every day onwards if you’d like ;) – over here and enter the giveaway below :)

One of the most exciting competitions I’ve ever been a part of is here and I’m here to represent down under Australia in this fabulous experience. The 2012 ASOS Future Stylist competition features 15 handpicked international style bloggers from all over the world who are challenged to style a differently themed ASOS look over a series of five rounds. The prize, a trip to the UK to style a celebrity shoot and the official title of Future Stylist 2012 and I’m so delighted-excited-happy-chappy to be in this group of bloggers!
The competition is being run via the ASOS Future Stylist app
and votes determine who will go through to the next round. You can vote once a day
until 3rd Feb and each vote automatically goes into the draw to win a £200 ASOS voucher, so be sure to vote whenever you can :)
The first round’s theme is ‘dressing up denim’ which focuses on candy coloured denim for the girls. I chose to style my look around this pair of neon coral jeans by pairing it with a strawberry red with rose gold sequin top. I felt that two similar shades would look interesting together and also added a pair of nude wedges and a bright floral headband. The accessories were of course gold, gold, gold. Hope you all like my look and vote for me here!
ASOS is running a special little giveaway for my readers as well & you can win £25 off a shopping spree at ASOS simply by doing the following:
