I don’t like talking about uni but guess which happy student just finished their semester exams?! Me! I had all of them over three consecutive days this week (Mon-Wed) and now I’m finally a free bird. I always have found exams to be a contradictory sort of thing. I tend to feel both stressed and relaxed at the same time. Stressed because there is so much to study but relaxed because studying is the only thing I do during that time. From my years of exam experience, I have one wise tip to share (I tell my little sister this all the time): Don’t talk about how you went afterwards because you can’t change anything! Ignorance is bliss, until of course when you look at your results. But I think this has really helped me focus on what’s ahead. Anyway truth be told, I’ve been having a lot of issues juggling all the things I do: my blog, Etsy, study, travel and other activities. But luckily, I’ve managed to acquire quite a backlog of posts to help me make it through the last month. Now that I’m free to do the things I enjoy in life, I really can’t wait to shoot some of the outfits I’ve been wearing during these cold few Wintery days. But first! To clear some backlog (I promise the next post will be all fresh!). This post took me forever to put together, mainly because I took way too many photos. These were all snaps taken during my week at ASOS HQ with Jana and the rest of the ASOS team :) We had a lot of fun doing all sorts of fashion stuff and I obviously took too many photos and also video as well :) Hope you guys enjoy the little snippets inside one of the hugest offices I’ve seen!

PS Just did another shop-my-wardrobe update, check it out here!

 Wearing: Mossman Alimony Shirt; vintage purple shorts; necklace from my friend; ASOS oui/non belt & rings; Topshop lippy tights & boots {Photos by Sureka}

A couple of months ago I took part in the “Melbourne, Mossman & Me” shoot where I styled a look around a piece from their latest collection, Neon Nemesis. This is what I came up with. Something quite, quite colourful. Oops! I always seem to be into the colour.. On the day of my shoot, it was not only raining but also extremely windy. This was done on a rooftop carpark and I literally parked my car as close as I could to where we were shooting to avoid battling the elements for more than what was really necessary :) So now you know why my hair is completely out of control here. Sureka was lovely to work with and I’m really happy to see how brightly these colours shine in the photographs.. almost brighter than in real life :)

PS. Amongst all the procrastination I’ve been doing this week, I’ve finally set up a little site for a wardrobe clear out sale – check it out here! It was hard but I had to admit to myself that if I didn’t do this, all my clothes would eventually consume both my bedroom and I.

casual weekend

Wearing: Kani orange floral headband, Monki mustard knit, vintage teal floral dress, Topshop socks & boots and a vintage bag {Photos by Marg}

So what does one of my really, casual outfits look like? Well, I’m not talking about really, really casual which would be trackies and some baggy jumper. I’m also not talking about really, really, really casual which I deem to be my pajamas. I’m just talking about something really easy I wear on say, the weekend to do nothing much :) Well! Here’s a good example. On the weekend before MBFWA, Jess, Yenny, Marg & I went for impromptu brunch and I went in this really comfy outfit. This vintage dress is many sizes too big for me so it hangs loosely and this mustard jumper has a nice baggy fit. I paired this with one of my handmade headbands, a pop of pink in my poodle print socks and my trust Topshop boots which I am pretty much wearing most days, these days. MBFWA was the first time I got to properly meet the other FELLT girls, given I had been in my own little {Melbourne} bubble most of the time prior to this!
