Just a few photos of my outfit from a couple of days ago. It was extremely windy outside and I didn’t actually realise until I stepped out of my car.. or I wouldn’t have worn a skirt or left my hair down! The wind was very strong which is why hair is flying in all sorts of crazy directions. My face is still bruised in very strange shades of yellow and purple but I have tried not to scare you guys in these photos :) I’ve really taken a liking of these soft shades and this mint collared shirt has been the perfect layering piece this season. Oversize jumpers are also a must for me as they’re so comfy to live in, especially during those long days at uni and this one is especially fun as it’s in a bright cheery shade of pink. Though I can just imagine myself wearing this jumper to uni first day back and looking like a very overly enthusiastic law student like that girl in Legally Blonde!

Oh it’s good to be back! Between my last post and now, I had dental surgery to have four impacted wisdom teeth removed. I’ve always been scared of injections and operations when I was younger. When I was seven, I had to have some minor dental surgery and I was the child who screamed and resisted all force to avoid being in the dentist’s chair. But for some reason, this time round, I was not scared at all! Perhaps it was because I knew that I’d be asleep for the entire ‘scary part’ or just the fact that I didn’t have much time to think about it at all. Everything went fine except for the fact that the painkillers I was prescribed made me throw up non-stop.. gross. I ended up not taking them anymore and I’m almost back in action again :) Today, I went out for a quick shopping trip with my little sister. It’s the first time I’ve been out of the house for over a week now and it feels so good! I needed to exchange some shoes I had bought online and also picked up a couple of sushi serving trays for a little sushi feast I plan on hopefully having once my mouth fully heals and I can eat normal foods again. We quickly snapped these photos before hand as the sunshine today was just magnificent. My mouth is still a bit swollen and bruised, not sure if you can tell in these angles though! I’ve been feeling a bit uninspired lately, probably because I spent the last seven days living within the confinements of my 2x1m bed.. but I can’t wait to get back into blogging again and I have a really exciting little project with Betts to share with you next week!

Attempting to stay warm in colour with some of my favourite vintage pieces.. I can’t remember how long I’ve had these vintage purple denim shorts for, but they’ve always been one of the more versatile pieces in my wardrobe. I first found them as a pair of denim jeans, extremely baggy but tapering at the ankles in a very unflattering way. However, the waist size was perfect for me so I decided to chop them into some shorts that I would actually wear. I’ve also had this bag for a while now and I just love its doctor bag style – it’s a little bit different to your usual little vintage shoulder bag which is why I love it so much as an alternative to my other brown one. And can you believe I stumbled across my name on a bracelet?! I never thought I would ever make such a discovery, given that when I was younger, I would never find my name on any of the key rings, mugs and necklaces in shopping centre gift shops. But now, I finally have one too :) I guess my name was more popular in the days gone by!
