What a night! ‘Step into Spring’ at Topshop with Grazia Magazine and K is for Kani was an absolute blast! Featuring cocktails and canapés, a bustling crowd of guests gathered in store to celebrate all things Spring. When I arrived, I was so overjoyed to see my handmade floral headpieces neatly sitting in a beautiful antique white shelf stand, accompanied by the cutest ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ bunnies. It was also lovely to meet the wonderful Dom who was so friendly and bubbly as she helped manage the stall for the night. I guess one of the downsides of selling online is not being able to have the privilege to see your customers’ reactions to your products. Last night, it was such a joy to see the smiles as girls (and guys!) tried on each piece. I was so happy to see how easily the headpieces could work with all kinds of hair colours, hairstyles and outfits. Everyone looked so gorgeous!
One of the highlights of the night was being able to meet Grazia Editor Amy Molloy and Fashion Director David Bonney and share my headpieces with them! They also presented a preview of Topshop’s new racewear collection and a styling session for the annual Melbourne Cup Spring Racing Carnival. I personally have my eye on a whole outfit featuring a beautiful, bright purple, pleated midi skirt as well as a crisp, embellished collar.
It was also a fantastic opportunity to catch up with fellow Melbourne bloggers and readers. A special thank you goes out to Jess and Jess of Topshop for organising the pop-up and event. The K is for Kani pop-up stall is now set up at the front of Topshop, ready to continue on this weekend. Customers who spend $100+ at Topshop Melbourne this weekend can visit the stall to redeem a complimentary floral headpiece of your choice. There are so many boxes of headpieces waiting for you and I can’t wait to see you all with flowers in your hair! <3
