places to stay travel

checking in at the mansion

Wearing: May floral maxi dress {Photos: Tom & I}

To think that there can be such a peaceful place just half an hour from the Melbourne CBD is somewhat astonishing. Yesterday morning Tom & I escaped the heavily congested, urbanised and busy city of Melbourne to take up an invitation from the lovely folks at Pybus PR & The Mansion for a couple of days at Hotel & Spa. The Mansion Hotel & Spa is situated next to Werribee Park, Mansion & Zoo. All places I had visited in my previous trips to the location however never did I have the time to stay and fully soak it all in. We were spoilt by beautiful blue skies accompanied by the warm sunshine on our two days of R&R where we enjoyed picnics by the lake packed by the Hotel’s restaurant Joseph’s, took dips in the indoor pool, had massages at The Spa, wined and dined and took a whole lot of photos amongst the beautiful grounds too. Whilst I get busy editing my travel diary and a couple of outfit posts we took, I’ll leave you first with a few location snaps. Waking up to seeing lorikeets chirping on the tree in front of our light filled balcony was so refreshing for the mind and soul. Our suite also had a spacious spa for evening baths, picture frames of the seminary that used to occupy the building (what history!) and endless pillow menu for sleeping. So here I am, just back home – refreshed, relaxed and will be back here with a new post soon!
