outfit

spring street

 Wearing: C&M by Camilla & Marc pinafore, L’America stripe tee, Miista rose gold sandals {similar here}, Vanessa Mooney necklace, vintage bag and Rusty sunglasses {Photos: Rowena}

Not all tram stops in Melbourne look like this one however I sure wish they did! This little stop’s painted in exactly the same style as those old W class trams that used to travel along the tracks/the tram the government gifted to Princess Mary when she got married in Denmark (I still wonder what they do with this massive tram..). These tram stops (and the trams they look identical to) send me down a path of nostalgia reminding me of the pre-myki-pre-metcard days when conductors used to ride on trams selling you paper tickets with hole punched dates. Does anyone else remember those days? Its colourful backdrop certainly makes for the perfect location to shoot a casual stripe and denim combo, something I sure do like to live in on my lazy days :-)

    Lovely photo shoot & great location, I adore the vintage bag.
    The old tram stops & trams are charming, although I didn’t use trams before metcard my parents have said they wish trams still had conductors.

    This outfit is put together perfectly. It’s how a pinafore should be worn & it just works. The simple outfits are the best.

      Oh I have never seen a school have pinafores in their uniform! I always had dresses and skirts only, that would actually be the cutest!

    You are just so lucky to live in Melbourne, with your trams, and your bright vibrant cultures.
    I just read recently (a few months ago), that once again Melbourne has taken First Place in the most liveable city in the world (based on infrastructure, education, health care etc). How exciting is that… However, Sydney follows after in 4th place, Perth and Adelaide also made it in the top 10 too!

    Anywho, I am in love with the last photo, a lovely shadow conveniently highlights your presence!

      Go Melbourne! It’s definitely a very liveable city, though I really don’t know how they measure liveability across the world so precisely and accurately! Regardless, Australia’s such a nice and safe place to live, we’re all very lucky to be here ! X

    The colours on the tram stop reminds me of a childrens playhouse; Goes nice with the your pinafore and stripes!

    Great last shot! : )
    And I might be a little late with this, but I think the new hairstyle (without bangs) really suits you.
