Time always flies when you’re having fun, doesn’t it? The last few days have gone by so quickly and I’m back home again after a few pretty splendid days at Crown. If I could only say one thing about staying at Crown Towers, it would be that the Crown Spa on level 3 do the most amazing body mud wrap. I was in such a state of relaxation that I fell asleep halfway through. And through early mornings staring out the window, I’ve come to realise that Melbourne looks so European. It is such an unsurprising epiphany however I never quite acknowledged the resemblance until I started looking at the city with the eyes of a tourist. The similarities are rife in its architecture and when I stumbled across the love locks on Yarra Footbridge it reminded me of Paris – since when did we even have a love lock bridge?

I’ve lived in Melbourne all my life and I’m so used to being close to the coast that sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have all these beautiful landscapes at my fingertips.Β I love a rocky coast line and I love even more watching the waves crash against it as the sun starts to set. Not just another location to shoot, but also another reason to be appreciative of this beautiful city :-)

I think I take our summer for granted… Whenever I meet tourists in the area, they always compliment how gorgeous it is… Maybe I should head to the beach instead of stay at home. Also, gorgeous bikini!

same! it was only when i started watching tourists over christmas and what they were taking photos of, that i started realising some quirks and buildings that i had never ever noticed. tourists have such great eyes for beauty wherever they go! x

Being right on the ocean would be perfect. I’m from British Columbia in Canada so I have a pretty great landscape around me but I still wish I was closer than 4 hours to the coast. That swimsuit is amazing by the way!

When I first visited Melbourne back in December 2012, I was awe-struck by the beautiful architecture, picturesque lane ways and grungy alleys but since moving here, my senses have been numbed to what this city has to offer. I’m definitely taking your advice and will try looking at Melbourne through a tourist’s eyes to rediscover the passion I had for this city :)

That bikini is so lovely! I’m such a fan of high-waisted attire in all shapes and forms <3

Yes, I must say you are very lucky to be living in Melbourne. I love Melbourne especially the landscape, food and most of all, the people. I never had any bad experiences during my visits.
