It seems like I’ve had a lucky start to the new year and have scored myself a happy few days at Crown Towers in Melbourne thanks to the lovely people at Jacobs Creek. Living in Melbourne, I’ve always walked past the grand hotel foyers at Crown but have never really thought about what might lie behind them. After checking in yesterday, I was greeted by the most luxurious five star room I’ve ever had the pleasure in staying in. As a student, casually spending a few days surrounded by a panoramic view of Melbourne with chandeliers hanging in the bathroom and a wardrobe walk in next door is not something that I do often, if at all. When settling in to my room, I love to unpack everything and lay it out. So I thought I’d make the most of my surroundings and do a little room tour of this beautiful hotel, as well as a peek at some of the staple pieces I love to bring whilst away from home.
