Wearing: Lilya dress (Spring, coming soon), Gorman polka dot raincoat (similar here, here & here), Gorman Bonnie boots (similar here, here & here), Sunday Somewhere sunnies and Coach Riley Bleecker satchel (similar herehere & here).

Completely not late to the party but I finally managed to sneak a visit to the Grounds of Alexandria when I was in Sydney last month. And how beautiful it was. The place reminds me a bit of Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne, in terms of how it’s repurposed an old building and turned the area into an entire destination to visit. Before dropping by, I was thoroughly familiar with the wholesome menu it had on offer but nobody told me it was actually on a massive piece of land fully kitted out with a florist, market stalls, outdoor area and a barn with a pig named Kevin Bacon and a lamb called Bradley! So here’s an insight to the beauty of the Grounds of Alexandria beyond the food they serve. To Frankie, thank you for the fun chat in your office & lovely Lilya Spring. To Jysla, it was so sweet to see you again!

I had been meaning to go there last time I was in Sydney, but as always, was so busy running around trying to get everything done before heading home that I completely missed out. And now I feel even more devastated that I well and truly missed out on not only spectacularly delicious food, but also an incredible wholesome experience. Needless to say, it’s at the top of my list for my next visit!
