Hello! I’ve got some really exciting beauty news for you all. Following Sephora’s recent acquisition of Luxola Australia, Luxola has just announced its rebrand to! Finally, us Australians can shop Sephora online – such an exciting step forward especially for those who live in cities where Sephora is still on the way (hello, fellow idelburnians) as we can finally have access to so many more beauty brands including Sephora’s popular in-house brand, Sephora.

To celebrate the new, Sephora and I are teaming together to bring you my top five summer essentials from Sephora which also coincidentally would make really great gifts for fellow beauty-lovers this Christmas :)

The Sephora Green Tea Therapy Mask is a super refreshing mask for summer. It aims to mattify and target imperfections and with a hint of green tea leaf extract, it’s made for the green tea obsessed!

As someone with hooded eyelids, eyeshadows often disappear the moment I open my eyes so I’ve never been into very dramatic eyeshadow looks or styles. However, what I do love to have on hand all the time is a small palette with natural colours just so I can use these to contour the eye area or add a little extra definition when necessary. I’m a big fan of non-shimmery matte eyeshadow colours as I feel it’s more natural especially during the day. This Sephora Collection palette in ‘Nude to Natural’ is perfect for natural eyes looks as all five shades are matte and the palette is very travel friendly in size too!

Ever since I grew out my front fringe, eyebrow powder has always been a beauty essential – it’s the only thing that’s always a must for me! I’ve tried both pencil and powders and whilst everyone has their own preferences when it comes to pencil or powder, I have always felt that powder is easier to work with. This kit in Midnight Brown is great for grooming your eyes as there are two shades to work with (I like to use the darker side for the outer two thirds of my eyebrows and the lighter shade for the inner third of my eyebrow) and there’s a brow wax for setting the makeup too.

Also a summer must-have is concealer. It’s great for touching up little areas on your face, especially if you want to skip out on the foundation for a more natural finish!

I’m all about bright lips and if I had to pick my two favourite shades from the Sehpora collection, it would be the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Strawberry Kissed #3 (the Outrageous Rouge Extreme Liquid Lipstick in ‘Magenta Magnetism #10’ is a very close colour match too) for my signature bright pinky red shade and the Outrageous Rouge Extreme Liquid Lipstick in ‘Rose Seduction #1’ for when I’m looking for something a little more natural in colour but still with rosy undertones. I’ve put on two of these above to show you how the shades look.
