Today was such a magnificent sunny day, which was ideal for a magnificent afternoon tea for the official opening of Mansion SocieTEA in the historic Werribee Mansion Hotel & Spa. The Werribee Mansion is such a beautiful location, and certainly not to miss a visit if you are in Melbourne. I couldn’t help but take a few panoramic shots to capture the spectacular experience for all of you! It wasn’t really the first time I’ve been to this mansion – I first visited it last year and instantly fell in love with the beautifully preserved gardens and architecture of Italinate. At that time there was a wedding in the gardens where I played the song “You and Me” by Lifehouse, which was a favorite song of Tom and me / “pair song”. So I instantly declared this place as love. And of course now it’s on top of my list of potential wedding venues, because I really love outdoor garden weddings, and that’s probably why I love creating so many flower hats that, oh, so perfect for them. So I was in such a good mood to visit again, even if it meant that I had to endure the (inevitable) very long highway trip – driving at any speed above 70 km/h is definitely not one of my strong points….

The Mansion Hotel & Spa just launched a series of decadent high teas, and it was wonderful to experience it. With amazing company and fancy dining areas along the tanned balcony, we enjoyed sipping delicious T2 mixes, enjoying delicious pastries, sweet cakes, refreshing sandwiches and other delicious delicacies. The high tea here is definitely not as common as in London as I discovered during my visit earlier this year, so it was absolutely a pleasure to enjoy it right here at home in Melbourne. It was also nice to meet and chat with fellow bloggers from Melbourne. 🙂

To make my day sweeter (not that it was even sweeter!), I discovered my T2 Yummy Bag to discover one of those pastel cups I have been watching for some time. I always wanted one of their pastel cups, but I was always hesitant about flowers and never hesitated. Fortunately for me, Pybus PR gave me a little help, and now I have a beautiful yellow cup of tea, which, I just know, will bring me so much benefit. Thank you!
